                                          Overthinking to stress or vice versa In day-to-day hustle buzzle, we encounter many situations leading to intense emotions. The degree of impact on self depends on how we overcome or ponder over it by deep dive into the situation. Best solution is the cross over and see the alternative solution to a given situation rather than overthinking. It is not to say, just never mind and skip thinking. It has to be rather balanced with next course of action with solution being the driving force. This is Growth mindset and benefits one reducing stress.  Other tools help reducing the over thinking are.  Accept as is and believe that everything is for Good. Switch to larger picture and reemphasize on the final goal. Never to lose sight of it due to current temporary situation.  Sharing my experience of reading the book,  Autobiography of a Yogi-Sri Paramahansa Yogananda With simple language, flowing from heart of Yogi , it makes a wonderful reading, takes us to different spiritual world. Renaissance of Yoga in modern times and popularized world-over.  It reads, The great Yogi Lahiri Mahasaya brought a practical message suited to the needs of today's world. Purpose in life-unique way to identify

Recently came across an unique way to identify your own life goal and aligning your activities to your goal on daily basis. First write two important characteristics which you would like to read in your own obituaries.(Imagine). Example: responsible for the upbringing of orphan kids into their respectable position or High integrity man etc.. Identify what should you do to achieve this desired achievement. Then identify all your activities for the last one week on hourly basis and divide them into productive,non productive and others. Check whether any of this matches to your goal related activity. If yes, make sure 20% of your activity are at least directed for your own soul satisfying,life enriching goal. If no, add new tasks that are necessary to meet the goal. If you write and follow closely, it becomes part of routine.There is likelihood of reaching your goal much earlier than if you do not think of it! Practical tips for daily follow up Start the day with resolve that the day is made for you and you have all resources to achieve. Follow regular exercise and yoga for 30 minutes to 1 hour daily, at least 5 days a week. Write down your goal-long term, convert into monthly, weekly and daily.Ensure they are aligned to main goal.  Complete this goal related tasks first on daily basis. Do not procrastinate. The time is always right to do what is right. Enjoy every milestone with wow feeling. Focus on what is in hand rather than past or future. Concentrate on mean than end result. This will bring in perfection of steps which will eventually result in best result. Reflect your day before sleep and feel satisfied for the whole day's achievement. Enjoy continuous learning. You will realize more meaning in routine activities also.
